The Paleo-Experience: What are fossils? How are fossils formed? Does the cold preserve them? Learn one of the many techniques a paleontologist uses on a dinosaur dig site, etc. Field Trips consist of 3 sessions: Interactive Topical Presentation, Hands-on Activities with dry ice, and Museum Tour.

About the event

This field trip is a great way to show how science proves Creation and help solidify your students beliefs.


$25 per student (adults/chaperones, and non-participating younger siblings are free) Payment can be made through zeffy:

Bring lunch and a drink or snack! Students will have a break to eat. There are vending machines and a coffee machine in the lunch area but not restaurants on campus.


Sugar Sand Park is just 10 minutes north of the museum if you’d like your kids to get their energy out before or after the field trip! Bring lots of water!
